EV TG-5 Tour Grade Amplifier

The TG-5 Tour Grade amplifier has a microprocessor controlled operation management system that provides useful features such as compound thermal management (preventing the unit from switching off in excessive thermal environment), automatic mains volta ge detection and a circuit breaker control that allows the TG-5 to operate on a 30A (120V) or 16A (230V) circuit breaker with normal music signals. The TG-5 uses a grounded bridge 3-step class-H topology to ensure the highest acoustic performance and r eliability. The TG Series also offers the power and transient response to drive subwoofers and along with the low distortion for critical HF signals. The high capacity switch-mode power supply provides the headroom needed to ensure high dynamic outputs and reliable operation on extreme low loads. Optional IRIS-Net (Intelligent Remote & Integrated Supervision-Network ) Modules available for the TG-5 amplifiers enable state-of-the-art DSP, remote control, networking and unique system supervision – dow n to an individual loudspeaker component. IRIS-Net software is an expandable, open architecture application that operates under Windows and supports Ethernet, CobraNet, CANBus, USB, and RS-232 interfaces. Several modules are available including the: RC M-26 (DSP, AES/EBU input, GPIO, CANBus), RCM-28 (DSP, GPIO, COBRA-Net) and the RCM-20 (no DSP, CAN-Bus) The modules enable different levels of control and monitoring of the amplifier. The connection of the TG-5 to a PC running IRIS-Net software can be achieved using a UCC-1 USB-CAN interface and/or a N8000 digital matrix.
